Dallas, Texas — February 19, 2003 — King Operating Corporation announces its participation in the drilling of the Rahotu NZ #1 in the Taranaki Basin on the North Island of New Zealand. The 10,000 acre onshore project is located in the eastern portion of PEP 38722. The 10,000 foot well is targeting the Matemateaonga, Mt. Messenger and Moki sands. Joe Simo, President of King Operating, states that drilling should commence in early to mid-March.
