North American Manufacturing Completes Acquisition of Stordy
Combustion Engineering
Bringing together two of the
world's leading suppliers of industrial combustion systems
December 30, 2002 Cleveland, OH The North American
Manufacturing Company, Ltd. is pleased to announce the acquisition
of the Stordy Combustion Engineering Group. The acquisition brings
together two established and respected names to better serve their
customers on a global basis.
The existing European operations of Stordy and North American will
combine to trade under the new name NA-Stordy Combustion. Offices
in the UK, France, Belgium, Holland, Italy, and Hungary will serve
the whole of Europe. Operating as a wholly owned subsidiary of
North American Manufacturing Company, NA-Stordy is positioned as a
single source for all process combustion requirements, offering
industrial application knowledge, high performance products and
systems, and field service support.
John Newby, Vice President of Engineering at North American,
